Work work work work work work

Been busy lately and haven't had much time to post.  Here's some random shots of some of the latest stuff we've done at work.  A couple of 8 foot high standees for E3.  The guy in the picture is about 6'2" so that should give you an idea of the scale.  I'm not into games but it seems to be one area of the economy right now that is bulletproof.  Go figure.  We spent about a week straight on these and drove them up to the LA Convention Center in a rented Uhaul.  They were at the tradeshow for three days and then tossed in a dumpster.  So when people ask me what I do I usually say that I design landfill.

Maya Leigh

Maya is turning three on Sunday.  Crazy.  The stuff that comes out of her mouth lately is priceless. Thought I'd share some pics from over the years...

WTF?

It's 9:45 in Laguna Niguel on a Thursday night at Walgreens. Do you know where your daughter is? Chances are the authorities do....what happened to my home town?

Messing with Texas

Wagon Love #1

Eurotrash perfection.

BMX V.2.0

What have I done?  Craigslist find.  Circa 1993 Elf 24" Cruiser.  No brakes and two bent rims but I'm in love.  We were doing a photo shoot at work so I threw the bike in the mix and made my designer shoot my baby.  He got into it and spent more time on this setup than any other project that day.  Nice job Jeff.

Eslode, the working title

Trying to start to use this blog as a bit of a creative outlet.  Will try and post some ideas and such.  Some will be from my day job and others will be the stuff I'll never get paid for...

The reason I get up in the morning

Maya and Chloe.

Early Midlife Crisis

Been seeking out old school BMX bikes on Ebay lately.  Who knew I should have held on to the old Laguna 101, Chad's Cook Bros or my GT Mach One.  Seems anything made in the USA from the late 70's and early 80's is going for a premium in the online auction racket.  There was a Cook Bros. frame on ebay that went for over $600.  Where is it Chad?

Welcome to another blog

Just what you need in your life.  Another asshole with an opinion.  Hopefully this will give the folks out there some insight to what's on my mind at any given time.  All topics are on the table.  Family, work, politics, news, pop culture, whatever...

Enjoy.
